How trip timing is measured
Order ready
The starting event in this example. It comes from your system, the moment an order is ready to be worked.
Departed
The clinician leaves for the facility. Recorded from the clinician's phone when the trip starts.
Arrived
The clinician reaches the facility. Recorded by the facility geofence, not by anyone tapping a button.
Order complete
The study is done and the order is marked complete in the app. This is the stamp your system already has.
Left facility
The clinician leaves the geofence. Completion and departure are two events, because the gap between them is real time.
The intervals
Before departure, actual drive and arrival to completion are the differences between those stamps. Total facility time runs from arrival to leaving the facility.

Times are measured as the trip runs, from the clinician's phone and the facility geofence. Nothing here is estimated or entered afterward.
